Chris and MiMi Beck grew up in Jefferson, Georgia where they both attended Jefferson High School. After high school, they pursued their dreams of becoming college athletes at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. MiMi played basketball for the women’s program for five years, where she set several records and is currently the all time 3-point leader in school history. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in Recreation and her Masters degree in Kinesiology. Chris played baseball at GSU for three years before getting drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2012. Chris and MiMi got married in Atlanta, Georgia in 2014. Since then, they have traveled the country together, pursuing Chris’s dream of being a major league baseball player. Chris made his major league debut with the Chicago White Sox, then went on to play for the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals organizations. After an eight year career, Chris retired from baseball and now enjoys the time he gets to spend with Mimi and their son, Brave. Chris and MiMi have always had a passion and desire to help others and give to those in need. They hope to continue to do so in as many ways possible.
